The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Carrascal in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Napoleon Dziedelonis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorge Carrascal let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 5th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. The audience was convinced that Jorge Carrascal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Napoleon Dziedelonis was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Jorge Carrascal put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Napoleon Dziedelonis. 15 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Lastur came free, but Vânderson Saa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Zuberbühler FC's Saul Baumer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vânderson Saa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Jorge Carrascal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Napoleon Dziedelonis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Carrascal in the 20th minute. Vânderson Saa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Lastur in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Baumer in the 29th minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Vânderson Saa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Carrascal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Napoleon Dziedelonis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Barcellos Mineiro FC were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Zuberbühler FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arí Paraibano took the corner. Vânderson Saa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Baumer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Napoleon Dziedelonis made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Jorge Carrascal sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Zuberbühler FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Saul Lamberto hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Carrascal to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes Zuberbühler FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Radul Kokalov who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Barcellos Mineiro FC's Amílton Loyola to fire away a dangerous shot which Napoleon Dziedelonis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 63rd minute Jorge Carrascal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napoleon Dziedelonis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute Florentino Lastur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vânderson Saa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saul Baumer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Vânderson Saa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jorge Carrascal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zuberbühler FC's Jacinto Loramendi was substituted for Mariano Berart. After 92 minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Saul Baumer who took care of the corner kick. In the 94th minute Marciano Min shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vânderson Saa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 96 played minutes Zuberbühler FC got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Vachon. Barcellos Mineiro FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Zuberbühler FC for a fine match.
