Michel Haaland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Arne Rusterholz made a huge save. After the first half Re Loco were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Michel Haaland made the kick off in the second half. Re Loco's Arne Rusterholz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ksawery Winnicki in the 54th minute of play. Marcell Barovero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Atarratze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mateusz Sakowicz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Marcell Barovero when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Arne Rusterholz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ksawery Winnicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolás González got free with Marcell Barovero in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Re Loco eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
