After a rather tough play, Ampthill FC's Ali Numan Abanoz got a free kick in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Ampthill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mateusz Sakowicz came free, but Bernardo Abeijon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Mateusz Sakowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Abeijon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Abeijon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateusz Sakowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 41 played minutes Re Loco got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Fresco. Ampthill FC's Bernardo Abeijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateusz Sakowicz in the 46th minute of play. After 47 minutes Ampthill FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carles Artadi who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Silvestre Pes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bernardo Abeijon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mateusz Sakowicz made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateusz Sakowicz in the 60th minute of play forced Ampthill FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Abeijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ampthill FC's Bernardo Abeijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateusz Sakowicz in the 66th minute of play. Bernardo Abeijon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Fresco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Re Loco's Nicolás González was substituted for Carles Artadi. In the 70th minute Re Loco were awarded a corner. Gonzalo Fresco went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Re Loco's Eustacio Admon to fire away a dangerous shot which Bernardo Abeijon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Re Loco's Eustacio Admon in 71 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Bernardo Abeijon guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. A sloppy throw-in by Silvestre Pes in the 74th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ampthill FC's Quentin Fawcett. The supporters of Ampthill FC booed when Re Loco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolás González didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 77 minutes of play, Re Loco's Celso Lalla made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardo Abeijon was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 84th minute, Celso Lalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Re Loco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celso Lalla in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Abeijon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ampthill FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gonzalo Fresco was slow to take the kick. During this time Re Loco's players had a chance to rest. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ampthill FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Abeijon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ampthill FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
