The U21 Totoras F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when U21 Totoras F.C.'s Thomas Vollmari looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Magallanes's goalkeeper Jimeno Nevada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Samuel Pereira scored 2-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruce Wayne, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gavino Rami stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
