The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Vollmari got free with Jakub Mitus in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Thomas Vollmari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes in the game, Jamar Paige dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Bruce Wayne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Mutu in the 18th minute of play. Thomas Vollmari's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Jakub Mitus skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Patryk Ranowiecki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruce Wayne having to make a save. If Thomas Vollmari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Vollmari in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jakub Mitus, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Vollmari in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jakub Mitus saved FC ICEWIND DALE from getting behind. Bruce Wayne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dobromir Borcz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute Patryk Ranowiecki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruce Wayne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Mutu to make the kick off. After 79 minutes, Ulryk Dudek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC ICEWIND DALE and the U21 Totoras F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. FC ICEWIND DALE's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
