In the 3rd minute, Eriberto Vidal made a precise shot to the right of Osvaldo Marques. MAZER SAF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Luiz Guilherme Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Ronaldo Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Carlos Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Zé Carlos Aguiar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronaldo Sampaio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 13th match minute, MAZER SAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Dante to maneuver through the defense. Rick Cabezon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronaldo Sampaio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Coronado went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 24th minute Luiz Fabiano Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Igor Coronado fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MAZER SAF's protests and gave Igor Coronado a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to MAZER SAF getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Igor Coronado hit a great ball. Ronaldo Sampaio came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by MAZER SAF's Igor Coronado. But to his dismay, Igor Coronado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Ronaldo Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Carlos Aguiar in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Coronado in the 32nd minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Ronaldo Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Zé Carlos Aguiar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Ronaldo Sampaio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 38 minutes into the match, Rick Cabezon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Osvaldo Marques, 2-4. Baltazar Galvão charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltazar Galvão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Galvão.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eriberto Vidal made a kick off. Carlinhos Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, MAZER SAF's goal looked a bit too open when Rick Cabezon came free, but Osvaldo Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldo Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Dante in the 60th minute of the match. After having played for 65 minutes, Baltazar Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barcellos Mineiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baltazar Galvão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. MAZER SAF's Joélson Coutinho was substituted for José Vítor Lopez. In the 68th match minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Capixaba to maneuver through the defense. When Luiz Guilherme Garcia fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barcellos Mineiro FC's protests and gave Luiz Guilherme Garcia a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Barcellos Mineiro FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MAZER SAF:s goal. When the match had been going on for 72 minutes, MAZER SAF's Igor Coronado got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ronaldo Sampaio. Ronaldo Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Carlos Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute of the match, Igor Coronado got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ronaldo Sampaio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 81st minute, Jarbas Borges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Igor Coronado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ronaldo Sampaio, 2-6. The MAZER SAF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
