After a rather tough play, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Nilson da Rocha got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Rick Cabezon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Witomir Wyrzykowski struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Ronaldo Sampaio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MS Rybnik. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eriberto Vidal got free with Zbyszko Grabowicz in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. It was a well-played corner which Pedro Luiz Teles managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. MS Rybnik's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Carlinhos Bertassi scored to the left of an out of position Zbyszko Grabowicz, making the score, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eriberto Vidal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. MS Rybnik's Zbyszko Grabowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Soares in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rick Cabezon in the 56th minute of play forced MS Rybnik's goalkeeper Zbyszko Grabowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stasio Oborski kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 64th minute Leandro Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszko Grabowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Ronaldo Sampaio got control of the ball when Jakub Swoboda tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 66 minutes, Carlinhos Bertassi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barcellos Mineiro FC and the MS Rybnik players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlinhos Bertassi. The crowd rose to their feet as MS Rybnik's Mieszko Tarka slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ronaldo Sampaio. That made the score 1-2 after 67 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Vidal in the 73rd minute of play forced MS Rybnik's goalkeeper Zbyszko Grabowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in MS Rybnik's zone, Leandro Soares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zbyszko Grabowicz came out of the goal and Leandro Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronaldo Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witomir Wyrzykowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Zbyszko Grabowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Vidal in the 82nd minute of the match. Eriberto Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszko Grabowicz having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Mieszko Tarka could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Ronaldo Sampaio however easily saved by the left post. In the 89th minute Mieszko Tarka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 92 in the game by Witomir Wyrzykowski from a close distance when the talented Ronaldo Sampaio managed to make a qualified save. Barcellos Mineiro FC's players were relieved. Mieszko Tarka took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronaldo Sampaio. Ronaldo Sampaio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. MS Rybnik walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
