Clemente Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeferson de Brito in the 14th minute of play. When Cássio Trigo got free in front of the goal in the 16th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Vinícius Barral was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Cássio Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Eduardo Leão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vinícius Barral having to make a save. The supporters of Bandeirantes booed when Ama-gi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basílio da Silva's late challenge caught a Bandeirantes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basílio da Silva helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Ama-gi:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bandeirantes:s goal. The referee gave Bandeirantes a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luís Eduardo Leão, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ama-gi's Vinícius Barral. 0-1. If Valério Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valério Mineiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vinícius Barral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Paulão Eger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Clemente Monteiro made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeferson de Brito to make the kick off. Cássio Trigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Eduardo Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ama-gi's Basílio da Silva got a free kick in the 57th minute. Bandeirantes's Clemente Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulão Eger in the 60th minute of play. After 61 played minutes Ama-gi got a freekick which was hit by Jeferson de Brito. Matheus Brasil struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Vinícius Barral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bandeirantes. Luís Eduardo Leão was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. Bandeirantes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Paulão Eger took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clemente Monteiro. Clemente Monteiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bandeirantes had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
