After 4 played minutes Bandeirantes got a freekick which was hit by Matheus Brasil. Cássio Trigos short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Umberto de Mendonça to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Clemente Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovanni Torres in the 14th minute of play. Clemente Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidnei do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 16th match minute, Bandeirantes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Falcão Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. Clemente Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidnei do Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Falcão Saraiva's late challenge caught a Jacata EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Falcão Saraiva helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Falcão Saraiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute Vivaldo Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bandeirantes's Valério Mineiro got a free kick in the 27th minute. Clemente Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidnei do Vale in the 29th minute of the match. In the 35thth minute of the game Cássio Trigo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jacata EC's Umberto de Mendonça was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lino Rocha charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th match minute, Bandeirantes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Sidnei do Vale scored 0-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clemente Monteiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 41 minutes of play Bandeirantes's Lino Rocha was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 42nd match minute, Bandeirantes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Rocha to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th match minute, Bandeirantes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Falcão Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Jacata EC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Geovanni Torres got free with Clemente Monteiro in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 57 minutes into the game, Jacinto Toledo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Clemente Monteiro. Jacinto Toledo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Umberto de Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovanni Torres received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Clemente Monteiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Geovanni Torres slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 62nd minute. In the 66th minute, Sidnei do Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juvenal Neves hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 77th match minute, Bandeirantes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jailson Prata to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute of the match Jerônimo Amaral sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clemente Monteiro skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidnei do Vale got free with Clemente Monteiro in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Falcão Saraiva hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Jacata EC's Clemente Monteiro threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alfredo Neiva, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 86 minutes into the match, Geovanni Torres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clemente Monteiro. Bandeirantes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovanni Torres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Matheus Brasil struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Umberto de Mendonça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bandeirantes. In the 95th match minute, Bandeirantes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valério Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Jacata EC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
