The referee ignored Dourados Futebol Clube's protests and gave Armando Antunes a yellow card for diving instead. 27 minutes into the game, Ulisses Cardoso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Iuri Pinheiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bebeto Mineiro hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When Délio Bastos fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dourados Futebol Clube's protests and gave Délio Bastos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, C.A. Paulistano's Ulisses Cardoso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iuri Pinheiro. Iuri Pinheiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Samuel Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Iuri Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 42 minutes, Ulisses Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Paulistano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulisses Cardoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Dourados Futebol Clube's Yan Toscano got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Alexsandro Madureira made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, C.A. Paulistano's Samuel Cardozo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iuri Pinheiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Dourados Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Ulisses Cardoso came free, but Iuri Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, André Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulisses Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iuri Pinheiro having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Bebeto Mineiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dourados Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. Paulistano the free kick. A collision led to Dourados Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Bebeto Mineiro hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexsandro Madureira in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iuri Pinheiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dourados Futebol Clube's Bebeto Mineiro got his second yellow card of the match in the 96th minute. The referee ordered Bebeto Mineiro off the ground. After a rather tough play, Dourados Futebol Clube's Bebeto Mineiro got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the referee ended the match the C.A. Paulistano players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
