Téo Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Gabriel Lago having to interfere. Lhoraca were furious when Nilton Barral was red carded, 30 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lhoraca fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! Luís Paulo Ferreira went to the wrong direction when Alexsandro Madureira was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. A collision led to C.A. Paulistano getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Samuel Cardozo hit a great ball. With a little luck, Lhoraca's Luís Paulo Ferreira got control of the ball when Ulisses Cardoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Téo Travassos in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Paulistano got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo Rosado. Téo Travassos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Tiago Gabriel Lago when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Téo Travassos took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiago Gabriel Lago. Tiago Gabriel Lago dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Téo Travassos got free with Tiago Gabriel Lago in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tiago Gabriel Lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Travassos in the 79th minute of the match. C.A. Paulistano's Tiago Gabriel Lago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Paulistano from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Ulisses Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Paulistano's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulisses Cardoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Paulo Ferreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luís Paulo Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexsandro Madureira in the 84th minute of play. Lhoraca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulisses Cardoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. Alexsandro Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. The Lhoraca players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
