A collision led to Dourados Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Rômulo Maia hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raúl Sarmento in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iuri Pinheiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the match, Cristian Braga notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Dourados Futebol Clube's Iuri Pinheiro. Iuri Pinheiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felipe Lago struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Clemente Tinoco's late challenge caught a Dourados Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clemente Tinoco helped the player get up and apologised. After 45 played minutes São Gaffo Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Tinoco. 47 minutes into the match, Dourados Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Raúl Sarmento came free, but Iuri Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Dourados Futebol Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. São Gaffo Futebol Clube were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raúl Sarmento was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, São Gaffo Futebol Clube's Clemente Tinoco made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iuri Pinheiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Felipe Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
