Spectators: 7195 (Terracing: 5398, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedrinho Cordeiro started the match with the kick off. Pedrinho Cordeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Salles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Farinna's Marcus Peres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elano de Carvalho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rafael Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho Cordeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norberto Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sandrinho das Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandrinho das Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Vrau AxT booed when Farinna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandrinho das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Vrau AxT's César Dionísio tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute Pedrinho Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elano de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Peres in the 25th minute of play. Norberto Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Norberto Gonçalves notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Farinna's Rafael Salles. Rafael Salles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcus Peres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elano de Carvalho having to make a save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Vrau AxT:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Farinna:s goal. 38 minutes into the match, Tony Simões notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Vrau AxT's Elano de Carvalho. Elano de Carvalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rafael Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho Cordeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcus Peres to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Benedito da Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vrau AxT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Farinna's Rafael Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho Cordeiro in the 55th minute of play. Marcus Peres scored 2-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elano de Carvalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elano de Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. If Pedrinho Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 77 minutes, Marcus Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Farinna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Peres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Vrau AxT getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Pedro Luiz da Fonseca hit a great ball. Marcus Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elano de Carvalho having to interfere. After having played for 81 minutes, Fabiano Cosme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Farinna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabiano Cosme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Farinna's Fabiano Cosme got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Farinna's goalkeeper Rafael Salles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
