Spectators: 7222 (Terracing: 5418, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) NATIVOS's Emílio Corrêa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emílio Corrêa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo Faria having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Emílio Corrêa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edmundo Faria. The goal made the score 1-0. Fabinho Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Gernando Loureiro got in the 21st minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Edmundo Faria. This was a shot which ended in a score of 3-0. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind NATIVOS's goalkeeper Jonas Toscano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Logradouro booed when NATIVOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vito Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Toscano having to interfere. Logradouro's Juan da Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the game, Valdir da Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Edmundo Faria was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Valdir da Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Edmundo Faria made a huge save. After 42 played minutes Logradouro got a freekick which was hit by Donato Pombal. In the 44th minute, NATIVOS's Emílio Corrêa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The wind increased when Juan da Rocha made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Corrêa in the 51st minute of play forced Logradouro's goalkeeper Edmundo Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute Valdir da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emílio Corrêa struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Edmundo Faria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NATIVOS. The supporters of Logradouro booed when NATIVOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd match minute, NATIVOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertinho Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Emílio Corrêa took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmundo Faria. Edmundo Faria dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Moisés Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. With a little luck, NATIVOS's Jonas Toscano got control of the ball when Frank Sarmento tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edmundo Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdir da Costa in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th match minute, Logradouro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robinho Gerber to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Logradouro's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Corrêa came free, but Edmundo Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vito Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Logradouro's Frank Sarmento got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valdir da Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmundo Faria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdir da Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. If Emílio Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Logradouro's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
