Spectators: 7252 (Terracing: 5440, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Juan da Rocha started the match with the kick off. Edmundo Faria came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Baluarte FC's Wilson Matos. But to his dismay, Wilson Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Edmundo Faria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Alberto Cardoso's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Frank Sarmento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Logradouro's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sarmento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Váldson Terra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Alberto Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Logradouro's Toninho Paranaense got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, José Carlos Mesquita sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Logradouro's Edmundo Faria didn't even have to move. Wilson Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Cardoso in the 33rd minute of play forced Logradouro's goalkeeper Edmundo Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Logradouro's zone, Wilson Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmundo Faria came out of the goal and Wilson Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Almir Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Wilson Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Logradouro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Baluarte FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Alberto Cardoso was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Wilson Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baluarte FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilson Matos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmundo Faria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 59 minutes into the match, Logradouro's goalkeeper Edmundo Faria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilson Matos. Dráuzio Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dráuzio Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dráuzio Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Logradouro's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Alberto Cardoso came free, but Edmundo Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 played minutes Baluarte FC got a freekick which was hit by Elói Toscano. Wilson Matos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Edmundo Faria skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Carlos Alberto Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Almir Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Logradouro booed when Baluarte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elói Toscano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baluarte FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
