Spectators: 7256 (Terracing: 5443, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) Construcciones's Marcelo Falcão started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Valdir da Costa took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aníbal Figueiredo. Aníbal Figueiredo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in NATIVOS's zone, Marcelo Falcão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Toscano came out of the goal and Marcelo Falcão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute of the match Claudinho Britto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonas Toscano skillfully saved the ball. Aníbal Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertinho Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Construcciones's Aníbal Figueiredo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Construcciones from getting a goal against them. Construcciones's Aníbal Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Barral in the 30th minute of play. Otávio Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Marcelo Falcão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Toscano having to interfere. Claudinho Britto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonas Toscano. NATIVOS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the NATIVOS defense, Marcelo Falcão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonas Toscano. The NATIVOS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonas Toscano should have stopped the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emílio Corrêa to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, NATIVOS's goal looked a bit too open when Isaltino Baptista came free, but Jonas Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moisés Azevedo's late challenge caught a Construcciones's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moisés Azevedo helped the player get up and apologised. Moisés Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. NATIVOS's Jonas Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorian Seco in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th play minute Marcelo Falcão came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonas Toscano. 1-2. With a little luck, NATIVOS's Jonas Toscano got control of the ball when Marcelo Falcão tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcelo Falcão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Toscano having to interfere. Tiago Gomes hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, NATIVOS's Dino Baiano seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dino Baiano the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of NATIVOS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dino Baiano had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Construcciones were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after NATIVOS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Isaltino Baptista took the corner. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Isaltino Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Construcciones's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaltino Baptista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Toscano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albertinho Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. If Marcelo Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vito Barral fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NATIVOS's protests and gave Vito Barral a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, NATIVOS's Vito Barral got a free kick in the 98th minute. When the final whistle sounded Construcciones left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than NATIVOS.
