Maurício Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 3 minutes into the game, Amadeu Machado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arrepol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estrema the free kick. In the 3rd minute, Amadeu Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4 minutes into the match, Arrepol's goal looked a bit too open when Albertinho Gerber came free, but Maurício Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Arrepol's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Arósio came free, but Maurício Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiago Arósio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filipe Teles's late challenge caught a Estrema's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filipe Teles helped the player get up and apologised. Albertinho Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Maurício Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Albertinho Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Tróia in the 25th minute of play forced Estrema's goalkeeper Ezequiel Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Murillo Miranda helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Estrema's Murillo Miranda got a free kick in the 40th minute. If Albertinho Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiago Arósio struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Maurício Tasso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estrema. Albertinho Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. After 76 played minutes Arrepol got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Teles. Estrema's Tiago Arósio got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albertinho Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Tasso having to interfere. After 88 played minutes Arrepol got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Teles. Maurício Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Maurício Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Arósio in the 96th minute of play. Arrepol's Maurício Tasso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Arrepol from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Estrema left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Arrepol.
