Spectators: 7259 (Terracing: 5446, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jacinto Trevisan started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes in the game Fabinho Rocha did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Vitinho Simão. Wiliam Bastos was a little too slow when Tiago Arósio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 18th minute, Estrema's Tiago Arósio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wiliam Bastos. Wiliam Bastos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Ezequiel Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Trevisan in the 22nd minute of the match. If Jacinto Trevisan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Base Esporte Clube's Wiliam Bastos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Base Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. Base Esporte Clube's Dé Prado got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ezequiel Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Trevisan in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Base Esporte Clube's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Albertinho Gerber fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 43 minutes into the match, Base Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Wiliam Bastos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caco Pitta. Narciso Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Paiva having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiago Arósio was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes into the game, Jacinto Trevisan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ezequiel Paiva. Jacinto Trevisan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Jacinto Trevisan took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ezequiel Paiva. Ezequiel Paiva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Frédson Donato kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ezequiel Paiva. That made the score 2-3 in the 67 minute of play. Estrema's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Jacinto Trevisan scored to the left of an out of position Ezequiel Paiva, making the score, 2-4. If Narciso Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Trevisan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ezequiel Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Trevisan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Murillo Miranda's late challenge caught a Base Esporte Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Murillo Miranda helped the player get up and apologised. Murillo Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Estrema's goal looked a bit too open when Frédson Donato came free, but Ezequiel Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ezequiel Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabinho Maranhense, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Wiliam Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murillo Miranda in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Jacinto Trevisan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Base Esporte Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. When the final whistle sounded Base Esporte Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Estrema.
