The audience was convinced that Elói Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ezequiel Paiva was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Ezequiel Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elói Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Iron Paradise FC's Elói Azevedo in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Estrema's goalie prevented a goal. Elói Azevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ezequiel Paiva having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Estrema's zone, Elói Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ezequiel Paiva came out of the goal and Elói Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elói Azevedo in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ezequiel Paiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes into the match, Iron Paradise FC's goalkeeper Sidney Prata had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albertinho Gerber. In the 47th minute Murillo Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cláudio Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Caco Pitta was shown his second yellow card after 48 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Iron Paradise FC booed when Estrema was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caco Pitta didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Albertinho Gerber to make the kick off. If Caetano Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caetano Alagoano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Ezequiel Paiva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ezequiel Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elói Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Caetano Alagoano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ezequiel Paiva having to make a save. In the 76th minute Caetano Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sidney Prata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertinho Gerber in the 78th minute of the match. Elói Azevedos short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Ezequiel Paiva to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tadeu Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Ezequiel Paiva managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Iron Paradise FC's Elói Azevedo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ezequiel Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elói Azevedo in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Estrema's Murillo Miranda got a free kick in the 95th minute. With a little luck, Estrema's Ezequiel Paiva got control of the ball when Elói Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Elói Azevedo could shoot a difficult shot in the 98th minute, which Ezequiel Paiva however easily saved by the left post. When the final whistle sounded Iron Paradise FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Estrema.
