Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Falcão da Silva in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Corrêa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 8 minutes, Ezequiel Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chalupa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Paraense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Guzolândia FC defense, Falcão da Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Corrêa. The Guzolândia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Corrêa should have stopped the shot. If Ezequiel Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chalupa FC's Wakil Mammar Chaouche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Donato in the 32nd minute of play. Marcelo Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Falcão da Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Marcelo Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Camargo in the 37th minute of the match. In the 46th match minute, Chalupa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Camargo to maneuver through the defense. Guzolândia FC's Ademir Perez got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Falcão da Silva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos de Brito during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Chalupa FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Carlos de Brito hit a great ball. Marcelo Munhoz struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Marcelo Corrêa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chalupa FC. In the 57th minute, Carlos de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Munhoz got free with Marcelo Corrêa in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute Falcão da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Corrêa was a little too slow when Falcão da Silva got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Falcão da Silva got free with Marcelo Corrêa in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Paraense in the 90th minute of play forced Guzolândia FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rdth minute of the game Falcão da Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guzolândia FC's Marcelo Corrêa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 95th minute, Chalupa FC's Marcelo Munhoz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. When the final whistle sounded Chalupa FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Guzolândia FC.
