The crowd rose to their feet as sport clube seco's Hélder Barral slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thiago Xavier. That made the score 1-2 after 62 minutes of play. Valdemar de Sousa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 65th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Joaquim Cosme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joaquim Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laerte Alves having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Joaquim Cosme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laerte Alves was relentless in the 78th minute of the game.
