Adriano Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ernani Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Abel Leme cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Clube do Careca Futebol's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Leme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mané de Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diguinho Bittencourt helped the player get up and apologised. After 60 played minutes Clube do Careca Futebol got a freekick which was hit by Diguinho Bittencourt. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Emanuel Prata got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 66 minutes into the match, Clube do Careca Futebol's goal looked a bit too open when Arí Brito came free, but Ernani Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Emanuel Prata came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Clube do Careca Futebol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Prata couldn't finish the play. Clube do Careca Futebol's Ernani Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Lopez in the 83rd minute of play. Ernani Sarmento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Clube do Careca Futebol getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Miguel Moreira hit a great ball.
