After 12 played minutes FC Pankakes got a freekick which was hit by Toninho de Queiroz. In the 23rd minute, Vitinho de Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Pankakes were furious when Paulinho Freitas was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlinhos Teixeira to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Gonçalense F.C's Carlinhos Teixeira got a free kick in the 51st minute. Geovânio Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Róbson Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovânio Amorim in the 53rd minute of the match. Sebastião de Brito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Arquímedes Arquett made a huge save. Egídio de Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Róbson Schmidt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Egídio de Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. 61 minutes into the game, FC Pankakes's Geovânio Amorim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Róbson Schmidt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 64th minute, Pedro Paulo Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Paulo Sena during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Carlinhos Teixeira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arquímedes Arquett was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Geovânio Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FC Pankakes's Arquímedes Arquett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlinhos Teixeira in the 84th minute of play. Geovânio Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Geovânio Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Geovânio Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the FC Pankakes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geovânio Amorim couldn't finish the play. Sebastião de Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Arquímedes Arquett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlinhos Teixeira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arquímedes Arquett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the FC Pankakes players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
