Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rodrigo Silva took the kick off in the first half of the match. Luan Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edson Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th match minute, Iacu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedê Reis to maneuver through the defense. Dagoberto Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edson Almeida in the 13th minute of play. If Edson Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luan Tasso got free with Marcinho Moraes in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dedê Reis hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Aírton Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Dagoberto Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. If Aírton Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivo Hoffmann in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dagoberto Brasil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes into the match, Iacu's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Hoffmann came free, but Dagoberto Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Iacu's Dedê Reis got a free kick in the 38th minute. Dagoberto Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aírton Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edson Almeida stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dagoberto Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edson Almeida in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of Astroworld booed when Iacu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edson Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iacu's Dagoberto Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edson Almeida in the 56th minute of play. Ivo Hoffmann charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivo Hoffmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Astroworld getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ivo Hoffmann hit a great ball. Rodrigo Silva struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Marcinho Moraes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iacu. Marcinho Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luan Tasso in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 67thth minute of the game Rodrigo Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astroworld's Marcinho Moraes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dagoberto Brasil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivo Hoffmann's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Marcinho Moraes came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Iacu's Rodrigo Silva. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Marcinho Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luan Tasso in the 76th minute of play. Astroworld's Marcinho Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luan Tasso in the 79th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Iacu's goal looked a bit too open when Edson Almeida came free, but Dagoberto Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dagoberto Brasil was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edson Almeida showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 89 minute of play. Astroworld's Aírton Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
