With a little luck, Cookie é Bom F.C.'s Beto Carneiro got control of the ball when Aírton Silveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Edson Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cléber de Souza hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Váldson Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldinho Lopez in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcinho Moraes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ronaldinho Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. Cookie é Bom F.C.'s Beto Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edson Almeida in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Tiago de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomás Silveira hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The supporters of Astroworld booed when Cookie é Bom F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizão Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Alfredo Albuquerque in the 37th minute really tested Beto Carneiro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Edson Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aírton Silveira struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Beto Carneiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Astroworld. Aírton Silveira might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beto Carneiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aírton Silveira ran back to his position shaking his head. Beto Carneiro didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 43rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. After having played for 47 minutes, Aírton Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Astroworld's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aírton Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronaldinho Lopez to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the game, Aníbal Veloso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Astroworld's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cookie é Bom F.C. the free kick. Aníbal Veloso hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. When Ronaldinho Lopez came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Cookie é Bom F.C. fans jumped to their feet. Beto Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aírton Silveira in the 69th minute of the match. Beto Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edson Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 minutes, Daniel Ferreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cookie é Bom F.C. and the Astroworld players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 76 played minutes Cookie é Bom F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Ferreira. Beto Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago de Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Aírton Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Beto Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho Lopez in the 83rd minute of play forced Astroworld's goalkeeper Marcinho Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcinho Moraes was a little too slow when Ronaldo Borges got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 1-3. Ronaldo Borges blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcinho Moraes having to make a save. Ronaldinho Lopez in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcinho Moraes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cookie é Bom F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
