If Aírton Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximiliano Fernendo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Mamute's Maximiliano Fernendo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcinho Moraes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, Astroworld's goal looked a bit too open when Kosmas Trabakoulos came free, but Marcinho Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aírton Silveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Jarbas Lopez made a huge save. If Maximiliano Fernendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mamute's Maximiliano Fernendo pulled a muscle in his back after 40 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Mamute's Jailson Vale was substituted for Maximiliano Fernendo. 40 minutes into the game, one of Astroworld:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Mamute a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cristiano Bezerra, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Astroworld's Marcinho Moraes. 0-3. After the first half Mamute were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jailson Vale to make the kick off. Astroworld's Marcinho Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jailson Vale in the 51st minute of play. Jailson Vale succeeded in the game's 53rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. Marcinho Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jailson Vale in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Jailson Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mamute's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jailson Vale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcinho Moraes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jailson Vale showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 66 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Jailson Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mamute's supporters rose to their feet, but Jailson Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcinho Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jailson Vale scored 0-7 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcinho Moraes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Kosmas Trabakoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivo Hoffmann hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. If Jailson Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 played minutes Astroworld got a freekick which was hit by Tiago de Queiroz. In the 88th minute, Jailson Vale fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marcinho Moraes, passed just outside the right post. 91 minutes into the game, one of Mamute:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kosmas Trabakoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Marcinho Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Mamute left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Astroworld.
