Rubens Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gláuber Donato in the 11th minute of play. When Augusto Trevisan fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rap é o Som's protests and gave Augusto Trevisan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Augusto Trevisan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rubens Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Silva in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Cássio Silva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Rubens Travassos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wanderson Torres in the 21st minute of play forced Rap é o Som's goalkeeper Rubens Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rubens Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wanderson Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, TUBARÃO E.C.'s goalkeeper Fernado Chapado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Trevisan. 31 minutes into the match, Tibúrcio Guimarães had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rubens Travassos. Rap é o Som's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tibúrcio Guimarães was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. When Laércio Marques came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the TUBARÃO E.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laércio Marques couldn't finish the play. Rubens Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Silva in the 35th minute of play. Rubens Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tibúrcio Guimarães in the 36th minute of the match. Laércio Marques scored 0-5 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rubens Travassos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rubens Travassos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laércio Marques went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Rubens Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Rap é o Som's zone, Wanderson Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubens Travassos came out of the goal and Wanderson Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Augusto Trevisan made the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Rap é o Som's goal looked a bit too open when Váldson da Fonseca came free, but Rubens Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rubens Travassos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emerson Silva in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Cássio Silva dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rubens Travassos, 0-8. With a little luck, Rap é o Som's Rubens Travassos got control of the ball when Laércio Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Cássio Silva took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Rubens Travassos to make any attempt to save it. In the 74th minute, TUBARÃO E.C.'s Cássio Silva ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rubens Travassos. Rubens Travassos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. Rap é o Som's Rubens Travassos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Rap é o Som from getting a goal against them. After 79 minutes of play, TUBARÃO E.C.'s Gláuber Donato made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rubens Travassos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd minute, TUBARÃO E.C.'s Benjamin da Mata ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rubens Travassos. Rubens Travassos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-12. Rubens Travassos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tibúrcio Guimarães in the 89th minute. Rubens Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wanderson Torres in the 90th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Rap é o Som's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin da Mata came free, but Rubens Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rubens Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Rap é o Som's goalkeeper Rubens Travassos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cássio Silva. When the final whistle sounded TUBARÃO E.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rap é o Som.
