Spectators: 7486 (Terracing: 5615, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cauã de Salles got the match started through his kick off. The Atlético-PR fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Atlético-PR's Arsenio Erico looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 6thth minute of the game Arsenio Erico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soltas AD's Claudinei de Souza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chicão Capixaba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei de Souza having to interfere. Claudinei de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chicão Capixaba in the 15th minute of play forced Soltas AD's goalkeeper Claudinei de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Arsenio Erico made a precise shot to the right of Claudinei de Souza. Soltas AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Arsenio Erico took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudinei de Souza. Claudinei de Souza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After 24 minutes of play, Atlético-PR's Arsenio Erico made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudinei de Souza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arsenio Erico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Soltas AD! The referee gave Atlético-PR a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Arsenio Erico, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Soltas AD's Claudinei de Souza. 0-6. Claudinei de Souza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arsenio Erico made a kick off. Chicão Capixaba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lenílson Favoretto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Soltas AD's Vicente Mota got a free kick in the 57th minute. Vicente Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Arsenio Erico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudinei de Souza having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Chicão Capixaba took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Claudinei de Souza to make any attempt to save it. In the 68th minute Chicão Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Soltas AD's zone, Chicão Capixaba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudinei de Souza came out of the goal and Chicão Capixaba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Arsenio Erico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chicão Capixaba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
