With a left leg Amauri Munhoz saved Atlético-PR from getting behind. The supporters of SANTOS FC- FDFDF booed when Atlético-PR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. When SANTOS FC- FDFDF's Horácio Costa in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Amauri Munhoz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Leandro Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Edgar Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Atlético-PR's Amauri Munhoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Costa in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvinho Mendonça in the 42nd minute of play forced Atlético-PR's goalkeeper Amauri Munhoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Sena's late challenge caught a SANTOS FC- FDFDF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donato Sena helped the player get up and apologised. After 43 played minutes Atlético-PR got a freekick which was hit by Donato Sena.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Horácio Costa made a kick off. Armando Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Jacinto Valadares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of SANTOS FC- FDFDF booed when Atlético-PR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Horácio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the SANTOS FC- FDFDF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horácio Costa couldn't finish the play. Leandro Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jano Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Décio Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Horácio Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amauri Munhoz was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in SANTOS FC- FDFDF's zone, Décio Gaspar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jano Bezerra came out of the goal and Décio Gaspar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvinho Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
