Ciro Afonso stood somewhat misplaced when Silvestre Jerardo came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 18 minute. After a rather tough play, CF La Plata's Venancio Bastiaro got a free kick in the 24th minute. After having played for 30 minutes, Florentino Medina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. awez0mb fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florentino Medina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Casimiro Ubendu made a precise shot to the right of Ciro Afonso. CF La Plata's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Casimiro Ubendu took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciro Afonso. Ciro Afonso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casimiro Ubendu got free with Ciro Afonso in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of awez0mb fc booed when CF La Plata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Gabino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Casimiro Ubendu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The awez0mb fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Casimiro Ubendu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The awez0mb fc fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when awez0mb fc's Silvestre Jerardo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Casimiro Ubendu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciro Afonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Medina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CF La Plata's Ciro Afonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Jerardo in the 77th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Silvestre Jerardo put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ciro Afonso. awez0mb fc's Jose Garikoitz was substituted for Florentino Medina. Ciro Afonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Jerardo in the 84th minute of play. awez0mb fc's Silvestre Jerardo got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Casimiro Ubendu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The awez0mb fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. If Silvestre Jerardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the CF La Plata defense, Silvestre Jerardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciro Afonso. The CF La Plata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciro Afonso should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that awez0mb fc were the better team. awez0mb fc's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
