That made the score 2-0 after 8 minutes of play. In the 15th minute, Morgadinha FC's Orthros Adamou ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aziz Hicab. Aziz Hicab yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. With a little luck, Gimonde's Aziz Hicab got control of the ball when Orthros Adamou tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Morgadinha FC booed when Gimonde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Sales didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rúben Gago might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aziz Hicab. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rúben Gago ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24th minute, Morgadinha FC's Rúben Gago ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aziz Hicab. Aziz Hicab yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Aziz Hicab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rúben Gago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th match minute, Morgadinha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orthros Adamou to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes Gimonde got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Sarmento. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orthros Adamou in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aziz Hicab saved Gimonde from getting behind. Orthros Adamou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Morgadinha FC's Quintino Castilho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. The wind increased when Orthros Adamou made the kick off in the second half. Aziz Hicab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orthros Adamou in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute Quintino Castilho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aziz Hicab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Rui Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rúben Gago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Aziz Hicab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Orthros Adamou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aziz Hicab was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. 68 minutes into the match, Morgadinha FC's Rúben Gago sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aziz Hicab narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Gimonde's zone, Rúben Gago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aziz Hicab came out of the goal and Rúben Gago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Damião Albuquerque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Rúben Gago put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Aziz Hicab. 86 minutes into the game, Quintino Castilho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Aziz Hicab was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Damião Albuquerque fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gimonde's protests and gave Damião Albuquerque a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gimonde getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Damião Albuquerque hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rúben Gago during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Morgadinha FC's Rúben Gago got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Aziz Hicab didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rúben Gago went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Morgadinha FC had played much better football throughout.
