When FC Silesia's Nial Porter in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wallsend AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 7th minute Kirk Hargreaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristram Dines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Thomas Patton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12 played minutes Wallsend AFC got a freekick which was hit by Steve Fenton. After 13 played minutes, FC Silesia's Nicholas Renwick shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dane Gibbons came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Silesia reached it. If Lance Hoskins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Wallsend AFC's Steve Fenton got a free kick in the 16th minute. Lance Hoskins scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dane Gibbons, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 25 minutes, Andre Gayle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wallsend AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andre Gayle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tristram Dines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kirk Hargreaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29thth minute of the game Kirk Hargreaves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Silesia's Tristram Dines was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wallsend AFC's Steve Fenton suffered a concussion in the 30th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 30 minutes into the game, Kristopher Ginn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Silesia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wallsend AFC the free kick. A collision led to FC Silesia getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Kristopher Ginn hit a great ball. After 36 played minutes Wallsend AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ted Hilton. Vince Graydon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tristram Dines came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Wallsend AFC's Andre Gayle. But to his dismay, Andre Gayle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nial Porter to strike the kick off in the second half. Lance Hoskins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Dane Gibbons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Knightley hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Andre Gayle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wallsend AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andre Gayle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tristram Dines breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the match, Kirk Hargreaves notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of FC Silesia's Tristram Dines. Tristram Dines was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tristram Dines made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vince Graydon in the 66th minute. FC Silesia's Kristopher Ginn got his second yellow card of the match in the 67th minute. The referee ordered Kristopher Ginn off the ground. In the 67th match minute, FC Silesia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristopher Ginn to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Wallsend AFC booed when FC Silesia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nial Porter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wallsend AFC's Ted Hilton shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 71st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tristram Dines but with some difficulty. Kirk Hargreaves's late challenge caught a FC Silesia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kirk Hargreaves helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Silesia booed when Wallsend AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kirk Hargreaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Kirk Hargreaves notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of FC Silesia's Tristram Dines. Tristram Dines was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 80th minute, Andre Gayle reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tristram Dines. The goal made the score 1-4. Nial Porter kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Andre Gayle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tristram Dines having to interfere. Andre Gayle struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Tristram Dines didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wallsend AFC. The FC Silesia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Wallsend AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
