Uudo Halman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Arto Voit put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Neeme Tihkan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uudo Halman in the 25th minute of play forced Elementary's goalkeeper Neeme Tihkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aabel Keskküla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vallo Saluste received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Markus Vollmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aabel Keskküla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Elementary booed when FC OTEPÄÄ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sander Jakobson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Markus Vollmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uuno Nurk in the 42nd minute of play.

Priidik Roosipuu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Vollmer having to interfere. Markus Vollmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aabel Keskküla in the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, one of Elementary:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Neeme Tihkan, was totally fooled by FC OTEPÄÄ's Allar Vaarikas, who 76 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Aabel Keskküla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Vollmer having to interfere. In the 86thth minute of the game Aabel Keskküla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC OTEPÄÄ's Markus Vollmer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87th match minute, Elementary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timo Mäe to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC OTEPÄÄ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
