In the 7th match minute, C.F. Real Kali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tauno Alekõrs to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Volli Sale in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Neeme Tihkan saved Elementary from getting behind. When Uuno Nurk fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elementary's protests and gave Uuno Nurk a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, one of Elementary:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Elementary. The referee gave C.F. Real Kali a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ragnar Taevere, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Elementary's Neeme Tihkan. 0-2. Aabel Keskküla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elmut Kabral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aabel Keskküla in the 28th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vallo Saluste in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elmut Kabral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elmut Kabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vallo Saluste in the 39th minute of play. Elementary's Aabel Keskküla got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neeme Tihkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Volli Sale in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex Valdmets to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aabel Keskküla in the 54th minute of play forced C.F. Real Kali's goalkeeper Elmut Kabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uuno Nurk got his second yellow card in the match during the 58th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The audience thought a goal was coming when Volli Sale got free with Neeme Tihkan in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes into the match, C.F. Real Kali's goal looked a bit too open when Aabel Keskküla came free, but Elmut Kabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Madis Väärtnõu's late challenge caught a Elementary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Madis Väärtnõu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Elementary booed when C.F. Real Kali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Madis Väärtnõu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Elementary's Juss Tõnuri broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 85 minutes, Aabel Keskküla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elementary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aabel Keskküla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neeme Tihkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Valdmets in the 91st minute of the match. Timo Mäe hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After having played for 97 minutes, Alex Valdmets managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.F. Real Kali's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Valdmets was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched C.F. Real Kali eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
