The supporters of FC Bal op het Dak booed when LA LUZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dawid Rojek didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Fredo Silvestre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Sergio Rochet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sergio Rochet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Kjellman in the 14th minute of the match. The throw-in from Cobus Harding in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by LA LUZ F.C.'s Gaston Ferman. Domingo Clis scored 1-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurício Bomba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute, Domingo Clis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LA LUZ F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.

The wind increased when Dan Kjellman made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by LA LUZ F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marick Brunt was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Bal op het Dak's players had a chance to rest. FC Bal op het Dak's Marick Brunt was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sergio Rochet in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 56 minutes into the match, LA LUZ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dan Kjellman came free, but Sergio Rochet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aristides Gombal hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. LA LUZ F.C. made a substitution. Giannis Patsatzoglou replaced Joaquín Lillo. LA LUZ F.C. made a substitution. Sergio Rochet came out of the goal and Martijn August tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maurício Bomba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dieguito Maradona in the 85th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Eddy Neijsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Loukas Botinos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The LA LUZ F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LA LUZ F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
