After 14 minutes of play, FSX UNITED's Svend Betz made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurício Bomba was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the match, FSX UNITED's goalkeeper Ye Wei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dan Kjellman. FSX UNITED's Ye Wei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save FSX UNITED from getting a goal against them. Ye Wei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martijn August in the 28th minute of the match. Ye Wei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 44 minutes into the match, FSX UNITED's goalkeeper Ye Wei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martijn August. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After taking down the ball on FSX UNITED's corner Zebastian Spets fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Maurício Bomba quite easily take care of the ball. Marcelo Salas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurício Bomba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. When Dan Kjellman came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the FC Bal op het Dak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Kjellman couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Cobus Harding in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FSX UNITED's Tancredo Landon. A collision led to FC Bal op het Dak getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Dan Kjellman hit a great ball. Dan Kjellman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ye Wei having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Kjellman in the 80th minute of play forced FSX UNITED's goalkeeper Ye Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurício Bomba was a little too slow when Marcelo Salas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 0-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FSX UNITED eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
