The audience was convinced that Karsten Lensen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sandrinho Veiga was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Ronald Lammens put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sandrinho Veiga.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronald Lammens to make the kick off. Ronald Lammens hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Karsten Lensen made a precise shot to the right of Sandrinho Veiga. A.A. Francana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Válbson Soeiro hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When Ronald Lammens came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the FC Bal op het Dak fans jumped to their feet. In the 66th minute, Ricky Zuidema made a precise shot to the right of Sandrinho Veiga. A.A. Francana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronald Lammens in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sandrinho Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sandrinho Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martien Degenkamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. A collision led to A.A. Francana getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Armando Orlando hit a great ball. Karsten Lensen might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sandrinho Veiga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karsten Lensen ran back to his position shaking his head. Ricky Zuidema recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FC Bal op het Dak booed when A.A. Francana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válbson Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Ronald Lammens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hans-Cees Roordink lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card.
