Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Zebastian Engström started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Per Kullgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jim Mitchell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Per Kullgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Mitchell in the 13th minute of the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Michael Dalton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Margaret Atwood Impact's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Dalton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute, Småland Utd's Zebastian Engström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Christopher Love. Christopher Love yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 18 played minutes Småland Utd got a freekick which was hit by Krister Olsson. Jimmie Kråk hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Småland Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Dalton came free, but Per Kullgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Michael Dalton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Per Kullgren. Småland Utd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michael Dalton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 34 minutes into the match, Margaret Atwood Impact's goalkeeper Christopher Love had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zebastian Engström. If Mathew Gunter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Timothy Watson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per Kullgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jim Mitchell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Margaret Atwood Impact's Mathew Gunter got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven Wennersten during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Småland Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Wennersten to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jim Mitchell to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Michael Rosendahl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Småland Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Margaret Atwood Impact the free kick. Jim Mitchell in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Per Kullgren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Margaret Atwood Impact's Michael Dalton got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, Zebastian Engström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Småland Utd booed when Margaret Atwood Impact was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Mitchell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Småland Utd's Michael Rosendahl got a free kick in the 70th minute. Michael Dalton received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Per Kullgren came out and tried to block the shot, but Michael Dalton slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 72nd minute. 76 minutes into the match, Margaret Atwood Impact's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Ove Lövgren came free, but Christopher Love reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 minutes Småland Utd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jim Mitchell who took care of the corner kick. Jim Mitchell made a great header on Margaret Atwood Impact's corner, it was just that Småland Utd's Per Kullgren managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice moves Jim Mitchell could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Per Kullgren however easily saved by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Ove Lövgren in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christopher Love saved Margaret Atwood Impact from getting behind. The supporters of Småland Utd booed when Margaret Atwood Impact was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Mitchell didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Margaret Atwood Impact's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Ove Lövgren came free, but Christopher Love reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Margaret Atwood Impact left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Småland Utd.
