Geovânio Veiga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Walmyr Silva struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Geovânio Veiga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.E. Porcos Verdes. S.E. Porcos Verdes's Tiago Botelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Pedro Severo in the 19th minute of play. Augusto do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Geovânio Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walmyr Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Veiga having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Tadeu Rosado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiago Botelho. S.E. Porcos Verdes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tadeu Rosado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 44 minutes of play, S.E. Porcos Verdes's Augusto do Nascimento made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovânio Veiga was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Zé Pedro Severo made the kick off in the second half. Manuel EC's Geovânio Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evandro de Lara in the 51st minute of play. When Zé Pedro Severo came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Manuel EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Pedro Severo couldn't finish the play. 53 minutes into the game, Evandro de Lara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.E. Porcos Verdes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manuel EC the free kick. After 53 played minutes S.E. Porcos Verdes got a freekick which was hit by Evandro de Lara. In the 56th minute of the match, Tadeu Rosado got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tiago Botelho was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tadeu Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Botelho having to interfere. Tiago Botelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Pedro Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. With a little luck, S.E. Porcos Verdes's Tiago Botelho got control of the ball when Tadeu Rosado tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Walmyr Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E. Porcos Verdes's supporters rose to their feet, but Walmyr Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovânio Veiga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Walmyr Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Veiga having to interfere. If Zé Pedro Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiago Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armindo Neves in the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Tadeu Rosado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manuel EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of S.E. Porcos Verdes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Manuel EC:s goal. Geovânio Veiga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walmyr Silva went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. S.E. Porcos Verdes were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
