If Jacinto Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Team Name getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Fernandinho de Brito hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão de Sena in the 10th minute of play forced Team Name's goalkeeper Belmiro Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urussui's Victor Moreno got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Urussui defense, Bebeto Castro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Tasso. The Urussui fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Tasso should have stopped the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Leonardo Pinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Tasso. Urussui's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo Pinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a little luck, Team Name's Belmiro Dante got control of the ball when Victor Moreno tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Team Name's goalkeeper Belmiro Dante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Moreno. Team Name's Evandro de Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bebeto Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Daniel Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto Castro in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute Bebeto Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evandro de Azevedo in the 37th minute of play forced Urussui's goalkeeper Daniel Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bebeto Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Evandro de Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Tasso. Urussui's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evandro de Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Bebeto Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Team Name's supporters rose to their feet, but Bebeto Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Tasso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serginho Meirelles kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The Urussui players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Team Name were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Evandro de Azevedo made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Urussui's goalkeeper Daniel Tasso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bebeto Castro. 54 minutes into the match, Fernandinho de Brito dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Daniel Tasso, 0-4. A hard shot by Gilvan Lago from long distance, 60 minutes into the match, got Daniel Tasso's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 61 minutes into the match, Urussui's goalkeeper Daniel Tasso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bebeto Castro. Urussui's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bebeto Castro 69 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. After 73 minutes, Bebeto Castro made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Urussui's Daniel Tasso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Simão de Sena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Belmiro Dante was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Urussui's Simão de Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Urussui's Daniel Tasso got control of the ball when Bebeto Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evandro de Azevedo in the 83rd minute of the match. Bebeto Castro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Daniel Tasso firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 88th match minute, Urussui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serginho Meirelles to maneuver through the defense. 1-6 came in the 96th minute when Simão de Sena all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Belmiro Dante. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Team Name had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
