After 32 played minutes Metalupuass got a freekick which was hit by Eemeli Kamppunen. After a rather tough play, Metalupuass's Eemeli Kamppunen got a free kick in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Herman Hagelberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Joni Keinänen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th minute, Teemu Lagerblom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Metalupuass fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Herman Hagelberg made the kick off in the second half. If Teemu Lagerblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th match minute, Ilmarinkylä was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antero Rahkola to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teemu Lagerblom in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arttu Virkkunen saved Ilmarinkylä from getting behind. Into Jussila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67thth minute of the game Into Jussila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ilmarinkylä's Arttu Virkkunen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Herman Hagelberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ilmarinkylä's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herman Hagelberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antero Rahkola's late challenge caught a Metalupuass's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antero Rahkola helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th match minute, Ilmarinkylä was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antero Rahkola to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Teemu Lagerblom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorma Välivaara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Joni Keinänen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Herman Hagelberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arttu Virkkunen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Into Jussila in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Into Jussila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arttu Virkkunen was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Teemu Lagerblom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
