Dito Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. S E BRITO's Eduardo Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sarmento in the 10th minute of play. Almir Lucas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Amílton Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amílton Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of S E BRITO booed when White Rhinoceros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidney Palmeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Sarmento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Dantas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Caco Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Eduardo Dantas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amílton Nunes in the 44th minute. Dito Pires didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edvaldo Schmidt went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fred Breckenfeld to strike the kick off in the second half. If Vladimir Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute, Amílton Nunes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The White Rhinoceros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After having played for 60 minutes, Cipriano Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S E BRITO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Pena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Osmar Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Cafu Messias sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and White Rhinoceros's Dito Pires didn't even have to move. Doni Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Cafu Messias struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Dito Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S E BRITO. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Fred Breckenfeld took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Dito Pires to make any attempt to save it. Dito Pires made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edvaldo Schmidt in the 89th minute. White Rhinoceros's Amílton Nunes got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. S E BRITO's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
