Rubens Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Donatello in the 20th minute of play. Doriva Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The referee showed Ezequiel Fontes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cratheus SS booed when São Lourenço FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastião Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hélder Donatello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubens Arósio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Marinho in the 42nd minute of play forced São Lourenço FC's goalkeeper Rubens Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rubens Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Rubens Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Marinho in the 46th minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hélder Donatello to strike the kick off in the second half. Cratheus SS's Aníbal Marinho was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 53rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 57 minutes, Amauri Fernandez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cratheus SS and the São Lourenço FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes Cratheus SS got a freekick which was hit by Amauri Fernandez. Sebastião Fontes struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Doriva Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for São Lourenço FC. After 62 played minutes Cratheus SS got a freekick which was hit by Túlio Godoi. After taking down the ball on São Lourenço FC's corner Marquinhos Machado fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Doriva Marques quite easily take care of the ball. Marquinhos Machado's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Doriva Marques on his right side and into the goal. 65 minutes into the game it was 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Ezequiel Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. São Lourenço FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doriva Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebastião Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aníbal Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Rubens Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cratheus SS's Doriva Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastião Fontes in the 82nd minute of play. If Genílson Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deivid de Souza hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the São Lourenço FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
