Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jailson Trancoso got the match started through his kick off. 7 minutes into the game, Jailson Trancoso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Doriva Marques was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Donatello in the 14th minute of play forced Scorpions EC's goalkeeper Alfredinho Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th match minute, Scorpions EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Esteves to maneuver through the defense. Aníbal Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Alfredinho Sampaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Scorpions EC booed when Cratheus SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doriva Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Carlos Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Carlos Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doriva Marques having to interfere. Cratheus SS's Doriva Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jailson Trancoso in the 27th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Cratheus SS's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Carlos Duarte came free, but Doriva Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jailson Trancoso struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Doriva Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scorpions EC. In the 39th minute Zé Carlos Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doriva Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jailson Trancoso in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doriva Marques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute, Zé Carlos Duarte sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cratheus SS's Doriva Marques didn't even have to move.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hélder Donatello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Carlos Duarte in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Doriva Marques saved Cratheus SS from getting behind. Aníbal Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After having played for 55 minutes, Zé Carlos Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scorpions EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Carlos Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute, Jailson Trancoso made a precise shot to the right of Doriva Marques. Cratheus SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Doriva Marques made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Jailson Trancoso sent off a good shot on target. Aníbal Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Sampaio having to interfere. A collision led to Scorpions EC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Tadeu Ferreira hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute of the match, Zé Carlos Duarte tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Doriva Marques saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Cratheus SS's Alessandro Maranhense got a free kick in the 76th minute. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Jailson Trancoso got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jailson Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Doriva Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cratheus SS's Doriva Marques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Cratheus SS from getting a goal against them. Doriva Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Carlos Duarte in the 95th minute of the match. The Cratheus SS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Scorpions EC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
