Evandro Cunha's late challenge caught a Vitoria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evandro Cunha helped the player get up and apologised. Evandro Cunha hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Nicolas Loyola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Augusto Gaspar in the 9th minute of play. If João Vítor Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evandro Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Bernardinho de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conrado Sanches hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. When Estrela Azul FC's Cauan Antunes in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vitoria's goalie prevented a goal. Bernardinho de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro Cunha in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Evandro Sá made a precise shot to the right of Bernardinho de Mendonça. Vitoria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Evandro Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Estrela Azul FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Augusto Gaspar came free, but Nicolas Loyola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Evandro Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Augusto Gaspar made a kick off. Natanael Fontes might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardinho de Mendonça. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Natanael Fontes ran back to his position shaking his head. After 56 played minutes Vitoria got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Bastos. When Evandro Cunha was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. In the 59th match minute, Estrela Azul FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evandro Cunha to maneuver through the defense. In the 67thth minute of the game Cauan Antunes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vitoria's Bernardinho de Mendonça was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Estrela Azul FC's Cauan Antunes in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vitoria's goalie prevented a goal. Nicolas Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adilson Melo in the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Pedro Augusto Gaspar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolas Loyola. Estrela Azul FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Augusto Gaspar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Fabrício Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardinho de Mendonça having to interfere. Nicolas Loyola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Augusto Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Cauan Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cauan Antunes struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Bernardinho de Mendonça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estrela Azul FC. After a defensive mix-up in Vitoria's zone, Cauan Antunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardinho de Mendonça came out of the goal and Cauan Antunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Estrela Azul FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
