EL JAGUEL FC's Elpidio Arce got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Salvador Raphael came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Aston Birras A.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Raphael couldn't finish the play. If Salvador Raphael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualterio Naelio's late challenge caught a Aston Birras A.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gualterio Naelio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th match minute, EL JAGUEL FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Naelio to maneuver through the defense. Aston Birras A.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Roberto Frascuelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florencio Koldobika breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Florencio Koldobika didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Everardo Nel went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Alfonso Todor fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aston Birras A.C's protests and gave Alfonso Todor a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Aston Birras A.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of EL JAGUEL FC:s goal. Many of Aston Birras A.C's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Aston Birras A.C may have spent more time on the ball, but EL JAGUEL FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
