another new event: trial of heroes

another one... again. Every 2 months now and not even for some special occasion. just any random date would do now to launch a money-generating event that gives too much of an advantage to people willing to pay for it.. i think i'm out after spending my remaining power tokens. MZ is clearly becoming too much of a pay-to-win game if you want to be able to catch up with the managers spending too much money with every event. Too bad...another one... again. My question was more so around whether its easier for teams playing wings to reach say lvl 15 or 16 than it does playing SP etc? It may be that any good team irrelevant of tactic can reach lvl 15 and 16 easily. Then they have to adapt to go further. I will say without these events I cant survive myself. Especially attempting to bridge the gap. I could make more money if I pay lime Jerdefox mentioned. But im unwilling to do so. I pay powerokesn for cups and even im getting an advantage in that over managers that don't pay or enter cups. So they have to sacrifice one thing or another which would struggle for them to stay at the top of the game as they can't afford an u23 or u21 team etc. The richer get richer or people paying get richer. It's such an inherently awful dynamic we have right now in the game. I have no idea how to fix the pay to win element. Not sure which tactic I used, but I could not repeat it. I guess the overall quality of my team was not good enough at that lvl. Thus I drop down to a lvl (11-12) have been winning against 11 a loosing to 12 every fourth hour. The difference in prize money is nothing to worry about. It seems to me that u spend a lot of time getting as high as possible?@k33n3y

So I've beaten lvl 15. However I had to adapt formations with SP to do this. Did you jusy run your standard formation and tactics all the way to lvl 15? Did you have to adapt or fairly straight forward? I've gained 4training chips so far and have 86 gold chips. So I may eventually get to 5 training chips. But I think its best to fluctuate as you mention between the levels for the Sheilds? It's nice to get the extra 10 or 20k it is for each lvl.So I've beaten lvl 15. I think it is kinda pointless to try to make it to the top as possible! as fredde mentions couple of k here or there won't make a difference. I do same - jump between levels 16 and 17. Fred have you paid at all on this event? Also have you collected every 4 hrs and then 8 hrs when you sleep religiously throughout? I've got 3 chips and I'll only manage 1 more? I assume you get to lvl 12 and you lose on purpose. Then you beat lvl 11 every time for 32 shields right?Fred have you paid at all on this event?

Yeah, I deploy U18 against 12 and the first team against 11. I have spent about 50 PTs, however I collected chip #13 just now, so 8-9 is what I would get from only collecting every 4 hours. I do not have my alarm wake me up in the middle of the night, but I think I have gathered most outside of that.

13 chips. Wow. That's crazy money. I'll get my 5th training chip shortly. I've not paid anything. With better collections I think I could gave achieved 6 maybe 7 chips. But definitely no more.13 chips. Wow. That's crazy money.

I managed to beat level 13, 10 chips and 5 credits collected. All for free, oscillating mostly between levels 11 and 12. And I created my account around 2 months ago, so not the best team in the game :)I managed to beat level 13, 10 chips and 5 credits collected.
