Ladislao Hitz started the match with the kick off. Artemio Bernabel was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA! Javier Garcia had in the 6thth minute some difficulties stopping Benedicto Abascal's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Generoso Breogan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Higinio Emenon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25thth minute of the game Damian Nabar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deuce Athletic Club's Enzo Telmo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Deuce Athletic Club getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Benedicto Abascal hit a great ball. Deuce Athletic Club's Enzo Telmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Beliran in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Deuce Athletic Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Honesto to maneuver through the defense. Enzo Telmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Breogan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Generoso Breogan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Enzo Telmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Damian Nabar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Generoso Breogan sped through Deuce Athletic Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Enzo Telmo. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Teofilo Quintyn was substituted for Generoso Breogan. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damian Nabar was the one to do the kick off. If Omar Beliran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Ladislao Hitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Javier Garcia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 72 minutes Deuce Athletic Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Damian Nabar who took care of the corner kick. Camilo Isadore's late challenge caught a Deuce Athletic Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Isadore helped the player get up and apologised. When Deuce Athletic Club's Benedicto Abascal in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's goalie prevented a goal. Clemente Cayo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Enzo Telmo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Damian Nabar did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Enzo Telmo 81 minutes into the match. Deuce Athletic Club's Enzo Telmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Quintyn in the 86th minute of play. A collision led to Deuce Athletic Club getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Higinio Emenon hit a great ball. Enzo Telmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Quintyn in the 88th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Deuce Athletic Club's Albino Honesto got a free kick in the 88th minute. C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Damian Nabar got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
