In the 9th minute, Emanuel Hoffmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corumbaense F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Oscar Arce blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruno Cordeiro having to make a save. A collision led to Corumbaense F.C. getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Emanuel Hoffmann hit a great ball. Bruno Cordeiro came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by INTER FC's Benê Simão. But to his dismay, Benê Simão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Emanuel Hoffmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Angelo Cerezo made a huge save. The supporters of INTER FC booed when Corumbaense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fabiano Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amílton Tinoco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. André Luiz Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Cerezo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luiz Gaúcho in the 54th minute of play forced INTER FC's goalkeeper Angelo Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Hoffmann in the 56th minute of play. When Luiz Fabiano Ortiz fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corumbaense F.C.'s protests and gave Luiz Fabiano Ortiz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Corumbaense F.C. getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Luiz Fabiano Ortiz hit a great ball. Bruno Cordeiro made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Oscar Arce sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd match minute, INTER FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugênio Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. Amílton Tinoco struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Angelo Cerezo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corumbaense F.C.. The supporters of INTER FC booed when Corumbaense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anísio Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Benê Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the game, Anísio Sergipano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corumbaense F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave INTER FC the free kick. Anísio Sergipano hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Oscar Arce's late challenge caught a Corumbaense F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oscar Arce helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, INTER FC's Oscar Arce got a free kick in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílton Tinoco in the 83rd minute of play forced INTER FC's goalkeeper Angelo Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corumbaense F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emanuel Hoffmann in the 86th minute. The corner led to Corumbaense F.C.'s Anísio Sergipano getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Corumbaense F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
