In the 9th minute, Silvio Darien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Álvaro Montenegro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Haedo Lokomotiv's Joel Espiridion didn't even have to move. With a little luck, Haedo Lokomotiv's Joel Espiridion got control of the ball when Alfredo Ramos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Haedo Lokomotiv's Joel Espiridion proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Haedo Lokomotiv from getting a goal against them. After 20th play minutes Geronimo Rutenio shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Laureano Sesimbra and just under the crossbar into goal. Jonas Bilintx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Sesimbra having to interfere. Alfredo Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Joel Espiridion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haedo Lokomotiv's Joel Espiridion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Ramos in the 32nd minute of play. Rui Graça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Joel Espiridion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Haedo Lokomotiv were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Miguel Chagas kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Joel Espiridion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Ramos in the 56th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geronimo Rutenio in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laureano Sesimbra saved Castores FC from getting behind. Haedo Lokomotiv's Joel Espiridion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Ramos in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Jonas Bilintx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, Silvio Darien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laureano Sesimbra came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Haedo Lokomotiv's Geronimo Rutenio. But to his dismay, Geronimo Rutenio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Ramos in the 86th minute of play forced Haedo Lokomotiv's goalkeeper Joel Espiridion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geronimo Rutenio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Sesimbra having to interfere. After having played for 90 minutes, Zacarias Trindade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castores FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacarias Trindade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfredo Ramos might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Espiridion. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Ramos ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Haedo Lokomotiv eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
